Richland Sewing Center is a locally owned sewing and embroidery retailer located in Texas, USA.
We sell sewing machines, accessories, and related products, and we offer in-person classes and events.

3. Orders and Payments

3.1 Online Orders

All online purchases are processed securely via Clover, our trusted payment partner.
We never store or have access to your full card number or CVV.

By submitting an order, you:

  • Confirm that all information you provide is true and correct.
  • Authorize Clover to process payment for the total amount shown at checkout.
  • Understand that all orders are subject to verification and availability.

3.2 Order Confirmation

After completing your purchase, you’ll receive an email confirmation and receipt.
If you don’t receive one within 24 hours, please check your spam folder or contact us.

3.3 Cancellations

Once an order is submitted, we begin processing immediately.
If you need to cancel, contact us as soon as possible. We can only guarantee cancellation before the order has shipped or before class registration closes.

4. Shipping, Pickup, and Delivery

  • In-store pickup: Most local orders may be picked up at our store during regular business hours once confirmed.
  • Shipping: Some items may be shipped. You’ll receive tracking information if applicable.
  • Delays: We aren’t responsible for carrier delays, weather disruptions, or incorrect delivery information provided by the customer.

5. Returns and Refunds

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.

5.1 Machines & Products

  • New machines: May be returned within 7 days of purchase if unused, in original packaging, and with proof of purchase.
  • Unopened or unused machines: May be subject to a restocking fee or store credit only.
  • Parts, accessories, thread, and software: Final sale, non-returnable.
  • Defective items: Will be repaired or exchanged in accordance with manufacturer warranty terms.

5.2 Classes & Events

  • Cancellations at least 48 hours before class start: Store credit or credit toward a future class.
  • Cancellations within 48 hours: Non-refundable, but you may transfer your seat to another person.
  • No-shows: Non-refundable.

5.3 Refund Method

Refunds are issued via the original payment method (processed through Clover).
Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

6. Warranties & Disclaimers

Products are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty only.
We make no additional warranties—express or implied—including fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability.

We are not responsible for:

  • Damage caused by misuse, modification, or improper maintenance.
  • Loss of data, software, or materials during service or repair.
  • Downtime or interruptions caused by third-party services (Clover, shipping carriers, etc.).

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Richland Sewing Center shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our site, services, or products.

Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the product or service that gave rise to the claim.
